Pour is a clear brown with a large white head. Aroma is a malt bomb with lots of butterscotch. Flavor is stong malt with a bit of earthyness. Finish is kinda lager watery but with a little butterscotch and some leather. It’s an ok BDG with lots of earthy malts to look forward too.

Orange amber with a night white head, nice lacing. Roasted grainy malt aroma with some must/earthiness. Flavors are best described as rustic, but falls somewhat short of what I expected for the style. High effervescence and a crisp finish.

Tasty malt bomb without being cloying. Very good example of the style though lower abv than is often expected. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from a large bottle into a pint glass to drink. The beer had a clear, full amber color with a very big foamy white head with great retention, and good lacing and cling. It had a sour floral and fruity hops aroma with some barley, notes of lemon and orange, and touches of straw and yeast. The taste was somewhat sour with a dense fruit component, along with bitter earthy notes and touches of yeast and floral pieces. It was a somewhat creamy beer on the thicker side with a milky body and a low-to-average carbonation with light fizz. Thank you Eric for sharing!

Draught at the Gingerman NYC sept 2012. Clear amber beer with a small creamy offwhite head. Malty and butterscotch aroma. Similar flavour. Really smoth and nice beer. Love this kind off beer :-)

Corked bomber. Poured medium amber with a medium-sized off-white head. Aroma was earth, caramel, floral hops, some spice, light plums. Flavor was lots of caramel malt, plums, and earth. Slightly thick mouth feel.

Woody and red wine aromas coming off a clear medium amber body with a white head. More of the wood and vineous character in the taste along with some nutmeg/clove spice and a slight sourness. Nice toasted malt flavor follows this with a full bodied texture for a beer that appears fairly light. Seems to evaporate at the end leaving an earthy taste behind. Refreshing and tasty.

Draft. Clear amber color, small off white head. Aroma of slightly medicinal caramel. Taste is much better, spicy, herbal, floral, malty. Tasty

750ml bottle. Pours a hazy orangish color with a small, thin white head that reduced to a small cap. Musty and very fruity nose, with sweet grainy malt and a peppery yeast character. Flavor is sweet, floury malt, with fruity taste of dried cherries, with faint spicy hops and very light cloves. Finishes fairly sweet, slightly caramel. Medium body with heavy carbonation.
