Castello premium has a medium, white head and a clear yellow-straw appearance. Carbonation is moderate. The aroma is a very strong bready smell (and some skunk at the beginning that luckily goes quickly away). The smell is the strongest characteristic of this beer. Taste is likewise bread oriented, with a slight hop kiss. Mouth-feel is light to medium, and Castello finishes refreshing. I liked this and found it to be different. RJT

this one was standout for how simple it was. Well balanced very drinkable session beer that was cheap but didn’t taste cheap. Sampled at store and servers said it is brewed with ’water from the alps’ sure tastes fresh!

Aroma straight clean malty nose. Very light on hop. Simplistic.
Appearance pours as straight golden brew. Clear with medium plus white top. Some lace noted.3+
Flavor and Palate : Medium bodied. Fairly clean malt oriented lager. Mid noted by mineral follow with slight hop notes. Good malt backing , properly brewed. Refreshing session pale.

Good dry aroma. This is pretty light but a nice dry flavor, pretty easy drinking and tasty. Easy summer beer.

Bottle labeled "Castello di Udine Birra Italiana". I didn't expect much from an Italian beer, but this one is actually quite good. For a lighter-bodied lager, you just usually don't find as pleasant-tasting beer as this. Nice foamy (not fizzy) white head that maintains itself through the glass. Very refreshing!

Golden in appearance, with small head that dissipates completely. Smells like wheat beer, nothing new or special here. Nice sharp taste, reminds me a bit of some of the better Mexican beers. The tart aftertaste is nice. A little light in the mouth, needs more carbonation. This is a decent beer all around. It's nothing overly special, but I have a feeling this would be nice at a hot summer day's cookout. Brown bottle, no freshness date.

Bottle at Juliet Wall in Verona. Yellow body with slight head. Nose of malts and sweets. Taste is nice and malty, some sweetness to it. Little spicy too. Quite enjoyed it.

Green bottle, pours a clear light gold with a white head that diminishes to a thick ring, aromas of faint grass, malt with malt bread and sugar sweetness, there were hints of sweetness I find in some European lagers, flavor of malt with some faint lemon citrus bitterness, more bitterness than I would expect in a pale lager, mouth feel is less than medium, I enjoyed this beer.

Clear gold lager with a semi-skunky smell. Flavor is surprisingly malty with a nice balancing bitterness. A lighter version of a pilsner, this would be a nice all day summer beer.
