Cask conditioned at Cockney Pub, Århus Copper color, poor head. It has a light apple aroma. Quite watery mouthfeel, with a little caramel taste and ordinary to sub-ordinary bitterness, still with a touch of apples. It reminds me the apple touch from homebrewing kits. Easy.

A found much the same aromas and tastes that Silk Tork describes - apples & pears, berries & violets. Low hop profile, but very complex palate. However, felt that the overall effect was rather marred by the overly soft and short finish. Still a nice beer though. Cask (gravity), Battersea Beer Festival.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Fin (6185) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 18, 2006
Cask at the Boat Inn, Stoke Breune, Northants. Poured amber colour, aroma had a slight yeastiness to it and flavour whilst fine was a tad tired and had been on a day or two too long, very standard type of bitter that I hadn’t had since it’s Whitbread days so whilst nice to see it still around will have to look out for it in better nick next time.
