Nice taste, a little sweet. OK palate, but ofcourse a little watery, but nice overseas pale lager. Joeh (1908), Buckinghamshire, England May 3, 2006 Bottle from Asda. Pale gold/blonde colour, medium size white head that soon dissipates to nothing. A sweet, cereal like aroma. To taste this is sweet, a touch eggy with lots of cereal (corn), a bit of malt character, virtually no bitterness and zero hop character. The more you drink the more the harsh carbonation becomes evident and a metallic edge soon develops. It isn’t even fresh tasting like many other macro lagers so the sweet corn character soon gets too much and becomes a touch sickly. Poor characterless swill, but at least it lacks sufficient flavour so as actually to gravely offend.
