| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Oct 20, 2005 The aroma is sweet with malt and oddly clay. The appearance is pale gold and the head is average. The flavor is so-so. Some toasted malt and grassy hops but mostly tastes like a typical lager. Bitter aftertaste. The palate is not as thin as expected but overall it’s not that good. harrisoni (6771), Ashford, Kent, England

Some hop finish mixed in with carbonation tingle otherwise not a lot else. Aroma is slightly unpleasant hughie (3053), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England

Somewhere, deep down, there’s an interesting, unusual and unexpected fruit flavour here. At least I’d recognise this if I tried it again. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Oct 5, 2005 Clear gold, white foam head, moderate retention and lace. Metallic tang initially, but some faint fruity hop notes in there somewhere (FAINT!). Flat malty palate with an almost-pineapple fruit essence that I couldn’t quite pin down. Not bad, at least gave me something to think about. legion242 (1577), Richardson, Texas, USA

Drinkable enough, though I would venture to guess that it tastes great in it’s home country fresh. kwik-lime (222), London, England
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 1/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Sep 28, 2005 Pretty poor. Nicish aroma, kinda hoppy and corny but the head dimishes too quickly. Taste is pretty watery, not enough hops or carbonation and vague hints of corn, vegetables and er, soap in the aftertaste. There are worse mass-produced lagers though. thedm (3834), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/20 | Sep 13, 2005 This bottled brew poured a medium sized head of foamy white colored mostly lasting fine to medium sized bubbles that left behind a fair lacing and a carbonated transparent orange colored body. The aroma had notes of musty corn and malt. The mouth feel was initially tingly and crisp with a malty tingly finish. The flavor was slightly astringent with corn and malty doughy notes.
