450 mL can. Pale gold. Almost no head. Smell of honey. Very heavily carbonated. Not much taste. Watery. Metallic. Don’t get the corn thing. Maybe it’s too cold.

Pours a pale yellow color with fizzy white head. Aroma is sweet thin corn aroma and slight saaz hoppish scent. Flavor is light, a bit metallic and corny. Overall, decent lager.

450ml can, 5.0% a/v Generously carbonated golden beer with a large loose white head. Corn smell with some malt as well. The taste is also corn with a "blah" aftertaste. Not an amazing aftertaste but nothing special either. Pretty good beerfor summer work as said by Ross.

From the can. Very little aroma. Pours a medium-golden colour with a nice thick, creamy head. Unfortunately, there is no retention. Slight corn taste and a little too fizzy, but otherwise a smooth lager.

Can from Len, thanks dude. Straight from the can. I noticed when Len sent my box that he sent me some beers that would go great while working outside, so here was one of them. Taste is sharp and hoppy, no hint of alcohol. Very easy to drink, served very cold. Interesting beer, the first I’ve ever had from Africa. Thanks

Pretty bland lager overall. Pale gold color, fizzy small head. Aroma is corn, dms, vegetable, light herbal hops. Flavor is light cracker malt flavor, light pils, herbal and light earthy hops. Metallic and slightly skunky.

This beer is everywhere in S. Africa, and so I felt compelled to try it. Yes, it’s a typical international lager akin to Budweiser in many respects. The difference is, you get to enjoy Castle Lager in Cape Town, S. Africa. Straw flavors and a light golden color. Corny adjuncts.
