leaparsons (4659), Leicester, Leicestershire, England Mar 13, 2005 Golden with a small amount of foam. Aromas are sweet and malty grain, canned sweetcorn water and some pepper. Flavours are soft grain with sugar and a dry, bitter yet slightly unpleasant finish. Fizzier than it looks. Cold and wet - ideal as a cheap thirst quencher. AndersR (194), Århus, Denmark Mar 11, 2005 Can. Pale golden clear with lazy carbonation and almost no head. Sharp but pleasant malty aroma with corianders and spices. Taste a more boring. Short dry finish hopscotch (5440), Vero Beach, Florida, USA Mar 7, 2005 Bottle... Crystal clear, light yellow lager with a mid-sized, fizzy, white head. Yeasty, peppery aroma with a note of canned corn. Decently balanced flavor, and generously bittered, but a touch harsh. Light-bodied and fizzy. Medium-length, crisp, lightly metallic finish. This beer could only be appreciated by one living in a year round hot, humid climate. I’m not a fan, but hey, it adds another country to the list of beers I’ve tasted and rated. pintbypint (1002), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada Mar 6, 2005 450ml can. Poured with a massive airy, white head, pale straw coloured. Sweet malt aroma with some vague hops. Fairly standard lager malts, fizzy, sweet, light hop bitterness in the finish. turbothy (717), Bonn, Germany Feb 23, 2005 Can. Boring, bland, bitter, which came as no surprise at all. Drinkable, but to be avoided. MiP (8793), Sønderborg, Denmark Feb 19, 2005 Can. Light yellow colour with white head. Aroma has a hint of sour rag. Flavour is not too bad, some residual sugar. Low carbonation for a pilsner, which I consider a plus. Aftertaste has a little bitterness. joergen (8430), Frederiksberg, Denmark Feb 15, 2005 Yellow colour with a small white head.
Hoppy aroma. Refreshing malty flavour with an OK bitterness.
pantani (1894), Salinas, California, USA Feb 15, 2005 A beer fit for a midevil king? Body is pale, no head forms. Pretty sweet, with a light hop background. Would be a very nice lawnmower beer. Best mouthfeel of any pale lager I’ve had (which isn’t saying much)
