MrManning (1634), London, Ontario, Canada Mar 23, 2004 Nothing out of the ordinary here. Pale yellow body with tons of fizzies! Aromas of slight corn, and can? Hmmm, interesting. Tastes like a mixture of can and a slight hops taste. Not that great. Crockett (904), Steelback County, Ontario, Canada Mar 21, 2004 Pours an extremely pale light gold, with lots of carb. Quick no show white head. Slight caramel malty aroma with hints of earth. Crisp with soft hop bitters, mildly earthy malts. Notes of apples, spice and licorice. Artificial sweet shows up in the finish. Dull average. Drinkable for a canned. bwanasafari (11), Dar es Salaam, Tanzania Mar 18, 2004 Castle is an average beer. The local african beers are a lot nicer in flavour, however Castle is not as carbonated SlimJimDrinker (115), Nørrebronx, Denmark Mar 16, 2004 Flat thin aroma... weakest body ever... Bad taste with a hunt hint of burned rubber.... Not a good beer Sigmund (2197), Hafrsfjord, Norway Mar 10, 2004 (330 ml bottle). Pale golden colour, large thick head. Fruity melon-like aroma, flavour is typical industrial lager, a bit sweet. Hildigöltur (5109), København, Denmark Mar 9, 2004 Updated: Mar 14, 2007Bottled at Graskop Hotel, Graskop, Oos-Transvaal. Golden coloured. Sweetish and rather bland with a slightly sharp and metallic finish. Light to medium bodied. Medium to high carbonation level. SimonLarsen (210), Sydney, Australia Mar 6, 2004 Poured with a large head but full of big bubbles so it went away right smart and didn't even leave lacing. Looks like it's going to be very watery.
Strong metallic aroma. I can smell it from over here. I guess the basic flavours of a lager are here but with no real individual style or anything. Also they seem to have been with budget ingredients. ahh well, I am guess they export it to make room on their own shelves which you have to admire hehehe imdownthepub (5089), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England Feb 28, 2004 Tinned, Pasteurised. Pale yellow frothy water. This is a thin cheap poor beer with little to recomend it by. Tinny, copper flavoured, depressingly awful.
