Pretty crap, below the standard of many mediocre Euro macro-brews. Watery, boring, unbalanced. This stuff is on a par with Carling, and yet it is sold as a premium brand in the UK!

Boring ordinary international lager. Sadly I have to drink these to get my countries list up ;-) The only good thing to be said about this lager is the quite hoppy flavor.

Bottled: Light yellow coloured. Harmonic quickly diminishing white head. Malts, corn, fruit notes and some hops notes in the aroma. Hops and fruits in the flavour. Nice bitter in the aftertaste.

This lager pours a clear light yellow colour with a bright white frothy head. Light aroma of corn and citrus with a little malt and some slight yeasty notes. First sip was a little sour to start then ended up bitter till the finish. The medium palate had lingering bitters and really went off to nothing. Very boring beer.

so is this beer really from africa? Anyway it had the golden color of a lager, the aroma of a lager and a taste that was actually a little deeper malted then most american macro lagers, so at least it accomplished that.

Bottle. This is actually OK, for a macro beer, albeit South African. Golden colour, with big carbonation, as per usual, and quite a nice rich, malty flavour for a lager: that is satisfying and refreshing.

One word comes to mind: Blah. Not even worth the 79c I paid for the thing. Poured with virtually no head and what it had was gone within seconds. The taste is, well, not terrible but not very good. Maybe I've been having too much good beer lately so this one really stands out as being exceptionally mediocre. It also leaves an aftertaste. Mouthfeel is like a thick American macro. I'd likely reach for one of these over a Coors or whatever, but only if there were no other choices.

Initial first taste is not a balanced bitter taste. Hop aroma just above a pale golden colour, drinkable but not that good.
