A beer fit for a midevil king? Body is pale, no head forms. Pretty sweet, with a light hop background. Would be a very nice lawnmower beer. Best mouthfeel of any pale lager I’ve had (which isn’t saying much)

Golden with white head, only little lacework. Just another ok international lager... not really bad, not really good, most of all boring.

Golden colour with average white head. Malty aroma with a slight sweetness. Flavor is quite refreshing with some sweetness and hints of bitterness.

A little expensive for a college student, roughly 6.99 for a six pack, friends from south africa drink this all the time, it was good but not worth the money

UPDATED: JUL 8, 2005 About the best that I can say for this beer is that it didn’t taste as bad as it looked and smelled. This headless gold maize syrup beverage is drinkable... but so are a lot of things that won’t pass my lips again. Have something else.

"Brewed since 1895". Why? (I’m tempted to finish the rating there, but duty calls.) In a large field, this is surely a contender for ’World’s Blandest Lager’. It pours a citron-lemon colour with a negligible head. The nose is sweetish and faintly citric. You would need a search party to find the ’body’. This isn’t beer - it’s wet air. A little malt in the middle. Then the faintest of bitter finishes - but that might be because I paid $5 for this. (Bottle)

Yellow, white head. Very sweet, lots of corn, some malt, nothing really in the way of hops. Light bodied. Not good, but not overy offensive either.

Golden color, middle head. Lager smell. Taste boring, weak malty. But a nice beer in a warm summer.
