Golden with not much nose. Good on a hot day moewing the lawn, but not much more. renffisch (491), london, Greater London, England Feb 23, 2008 bottle @ walkabout wimbledon. Bland, corny, watery. Very average lager. Can’t really think of anything else to say... GRM (1235), Aylmer, Quebec, Canada Feb 16, 2008 Can, 450 ml, produced on 31/01/2007, best before 31/01/2008, purchased at the LCBO on November 29 2007, “savoured” on February 16 2007; eye: straw, extra clear, no effervescence, tiny ring of white head, a bit of lacing; nose: corn, sugar, slightly fruity; mouth: aggressive, acrid, cord, cloying, sweet finale but with a buttery side to it, and then a feeling of soap on the tip of the tongue, quite sweet, a bit thin, rather carbonated; overall: once is enough

It pours a golden beer with a quick diminishing white head. The nose is of corn. Quite assertive aroma. The taste is slightly sour, sweet with corn and malt. Metallic with hay and marshmallows. Very aggressive. The finish is strange with unenjoyable grassy, buttery hints. Artificial and cloying. This beer somehow reminds me of malt liquor. JesseM (660), Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Canada Dec 21, 2007 Updated: Dec 23, 2007Wow this was some pretty questionable stuff, kind of raunchy (a word I’ve never used to describe beer with before). Maybe stuff made in South Africa doesn’t do so well when sent half way across the world. Tasted like, chemicals, not even really beer-like. To be fair, it’s probably better if sampled IN South Africa. Why can the LCBO get this, but not the sweet stout from the same brewery? dkazuk (247), winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada Nov 10, 2007 450ml can. Pours a pale lager yellow with a large foamy head. Aroma is very yeasty with some malts. Flavour is water. H2O. Has some feint sweetness in the front and a small amount bitterness in the finish like any lager. But mainly water. Boring and below average. emotv (331), Izmir, Turkey Oct 22, 2007 Nothing much really, I also do njot expect so much from lagers but still trying for an exeption. But this one is even weaker than other lagers i drinked before.
