Nothing much really, I also do njot expect so much from lagers but still trying for an exeption. But this one is even weaker than other lagers i drinked before.

Bottle, while in Tanzania: Pale yellow with a white head. Syrupy and thin; carb. was just OK. Sweet and husky malts, with sweet corn following strongly. Herbal bitterness. Stark aftertaste, perhaps a bit skunked. Typical boring light lager ...

Bottle: Std Pint Glass. Great Golden Colour, with a stark white head which doesn’t last very long. Lacing not to great either, tends to leave you thinking that it goes flat very fast.. I found the aroma and taste to be very bitter with a taste of strong hops and a bit malty.. The bitter aftertaste is a bit pungeant. I don’t think the palate holds much to be desired either.. It just tastes a bit like bitter chemicals and very watered down, although I know it isnt.. Not my favourite.. Should be served ice cold on a hot day, especially after gruelling hard work..

Okay--poured out of the can a very light gold with a head that just wasn’t. The foam dissapated as quick as I walked from the kitchen to the dining room. Taste was bitter, but otherwise lifeless. Nothing appears for the tastebuds to really note, it simple stays plain and ordinary. Compared to the Tusker I had recently, I’d say Castle is much better as far as African macros. But boy, that Tusker wasn’t much to recommend either.

33cl bottle at sydskånska nation. Pale yellow with a small white head. slightly floral citrus aroma. Watery. flavors are all watered and subdued. Some malt and hop, but alot of adjunct smoothing it out. easy to drink, and none of the flavors are actually offensive. Africa? Alright, I’ll take it.

Castle the 2nd African beer i have ever had, pale golden color some decent foam nose is sweet not alot of malts really or hops for that matter just kinda bland couple steps above tap water

473 ml can. a very standard pale lager. a little sweeter then some but quite bland and boring.

Can: Pale gold color, with a white film head. Aroma is of sweet pale malt and dried weeds. Thin, not overly carbonated. Alight pale malt bisquit hint and more grassy bitterness than expected, but it’s hardly bitter. Slightly metallic with evident compost and adjuncts. Eh...
