1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20 drpimento (1695) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 6, 2011
Sure looks good with the pour! Which is a huge, foamy, frothy, sudsy, billowy, white with lots of lace. Color is a clear yellow gold with several small bubble trails. Aroma is a scant scent of bitter hop. Flavor is a mild corn beer with slight bitter sweetness and a hint metalic. Body is ok and so is carbonation. Finish is like flavor and over quick. Best thing about this beer is having it in South Africa!
1.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 Saarlander (1664) - Saarlouis/ Rancho Cucamonga,CA, GERMANY - MAY 9, 2005
Pretty lousy, I drank it, but its comparable to a cheap American Pale lager, just like Jupiler, its a beer I’ve wanted to try for years, but it was bad.. lots of corn goodness.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 Vertical Bacon Strips (1617) - Asshat, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 27, 2009
Hate to say it, but this stuffs on my rotation. Drain ’em in a hurry too. Easy drinking simple beer. Nice thick fluffy head on todays pour, not much action in the glass tho.. straw yellow. not much aroma, but doesnt stink like my old hockey equipment either, so thats not a bad thing. I like the grassy lemon flavour alot, to bad its a bit thin on the finish. Grassy, lemony, grassy , lemony...thats why i keep getting it - oh and at 11$-12$ for 6 500ml cans, the price is more than right (considering the outrageous beer prices in Edmonton). One of the few canned brew I purchace regularly. Get drunk on it too, like soooo many others.....cheers!

from can: pours like any other macro lager but tastes slightly more vegetable (though more interesting). Malty and sweet, not much bitter. Stuff makes for easy and enjoyable drinking, even though the profile is pretty simple.
