This beer really hits the spot, when you are in need of a cold one! I’ve been drinking it for the past 15 years. I have however noticed a difference in the taste, since SAB Miller took over. Still damn good beer though!

A little expensive for a college student, roughly 6.99 for a six pack, friends from south africa drink this all the time, it was good but not worth the money

UPDATED: JUL 19, 2006 450 mL can: Pale colour with thin white head that disappears almost instantly. A definite hoppy or fruity aroma which doesn’t lie: there is something sweet in the taste, with no bitter after-taste (a bonus). The cynic will call this a watery beer: but what do you want from a pale lager from South Africa?! Very drinkable, but decent body & flavour, and very clean finish for a lager. Right on for hot weather & summer snacks.

very nice malt after taste. clean unique taste and with a very inviting colour. alrounded for a mass produced beer. head just lies on the thin side but carbonation through the drink is good. overall a very drinkable beer that should definately be tried

This is the first beer i ever drank so i thought i’d start on this. Pure golden shimer with a healthy hearty head. The taste will have a slight bitterness, and a complimenting smell, while at the end it tends to leave a dry yet smooth after taste. It does the trick at your next braai or bbq.
