The Zimbabwea version shared by CLevar. Pours a clear golden straw colored brew with a fast dissipating white head that leaves behind some spoty lacing. Aroma of creamed corn, floral hops and a hint of honey. Taste is light bodied, semi-sweet with creamed corn and floral hops. Finish is semi-sweet with a touch chalky and husky grain mouthfeel.

Pour out of 12 oz can, thanks Caleb! Clear straw yellow pour with white head, aroma brought notes of corn, grain, husk, some cereal, wet cardboard, hints of sweet honey. Taste is a mix of corn, grain, husk, some sweet grain, cereal, finishing fairly clean hint of sweetness.

Can says it was brewed in Zimbabwe and muled to the USA by CLevar. Clear light yellow pour with a tiny bit of white head. Big corn nose. Water. really no flavor to speak of. Just a touch of hop bitterness in the finish.

Can. Very cloudy with lots of sediment. Aroma of grain, citrus and a little metal. A little malty, bready sweetness with a decent bitter finish and a slight metallic taste. I ended up pouring this out, when I saw something resembling Jimmy Hoffa floating around in it.

Popular mass-marketed standard lager, golden colour with snow white head as usual, lightly malty nose, taste light pale maltiness but thin and watery mouthfeel, very little hops in the finish. Very bland.

0.5L bottle. Pour clear pale with a rocky white head. Aromas of dust and grass. Flavor is pretty lacking in this one. Some hints of bready malt, and then some not-so-pleasant hops. Light body with a thin mouthfeel. Overall, a pretty crappy lager that doesn’t have anything noteworthy, except that it’s one of only a few beers that can be found in Zambia!

Test no 500! Looks good, taste not spectacular but could be worse; somehow chemical especially to the end. But in case you are thirsty and in South Africa: It’s OK.
