Bottle conditioned. Dark brown with hints of amber and a beige foam. Aromas are toffee and chocolate with wheat. Some sharp citrus on the nose with yeast. Flavours are chocolate malts with some weetabix. Fairly sweet but soon overcome by lemon acidity. Quite bitter and dry on the finish. Unfortunately a bit tainted but reasonable.

ChrisOs Easter Tasting. Hazy dark amber beer, little pale tan head. Dry palate. Insipid dry appley taste. Dry finish. Too much like hard work. Skewed and over dry.

Bottle at Chriso’s Easter tasting 2012. It pours hazy deep red-amber, with a thin beige head. The nose is raisin, currant, farmyard and cheese. The taste is tangy dark fruit, lemon, citrus pith, raisin and currant, with a dry, tangy finish. Medium body and light carbonation. Very run of the mill.
