Cask@Twickenham BF. Really raw malt in the aroma, full on butterscotchy, sour lactic aromas......luckily thi died down a bit. Odd slightly cosmetic paint thinnner type aromas and flavour, i have to say i didn’t really like this. Definitely has some undeveloped malt.

Pale, straw colour. A rather unusual golden ale as it is dominated by dry malt, rather than crisp hoppiness. There’s some diacetyl butterscotch in the aroma which, fortunately, dissipated quite quickly. As Joe and Duff remarked, the malt is rather raw and underdeveloped. OK but either weird, or out of condition. As only about a third of the beers were actually available on this, the first day of the festival, I’d opt for the latter. Cask (gravity) at Twickenham Beer Festival.

Served in The Alex in Derby, by hand pump from the Cask & with a sparkler. Very pale in appearance. This is a very inoffensive Ale, with a slightly bitter taste. At 3.9% very drinkable too Plus a percentage of the sales go to the Wildlife Trust, so everyone’s a winner :)
