COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask and bottle: Regular; Unfiltered.
A blonde and beautiful single malt beer, light in colour and refreshing on the palate. The triple hop blend based towards Challenger hops gives a pleasant crisp aftertaste and a wonderful aroma. The name derives from the initials of the Low Colour Marris Otter malt used. Available bottle conditioned at 5.0% abv

Cask conditioned & on Handpump at The Alex in Derby 01/02/05. With a sparkler. A lovely crystal clear Golden colour. Strong / full flavours. Nicely hoppy. Quite creamy, with a fluffy strong head.

Cask at the Moot Hall, Sneinton, Nottingham. Castle Rock do blond beers very well and this is certainly no exception. Itís got an appealing pale golden colour, fruity hop aroma and a full flavour which is well balanced between the sweet malts and floral hop.

Cask at Gallows XIII Real Ale Fest. Pours hazy yellow with rocky white head. Taste starts light bitter, develops a deeper bitterness. Light-to-medium body, aromas of light hops, cheese and something nice I couldnít identify.

Cask (Charlie’s Bar). Served in pint glass. Clear apple gold. Big-bubbled head. The aroma is freshly fruity (green apples) and pleasantly hoppy. The flavor is well-hopped and fresh w/ a pleasantly dry finish. Good drinkability.

Standard pale ale, some fruitiness and not unpleasant but nothing particularly exciting either

Bottle conditioned. Pale golden beer with a crisp hoppy taste full of citrus flavours and a lasting bitterness. Poured with a very large white head which doesn’t seem to want to disappear. A really good summer ale that wouldn’t be out of place at any time of the year.

Cask at Artillery Arms, Ramsgate: Very fruity pale ale with bags of hops. A fair amlunt of citrus in aroma and flavour. Not a bad beer, but I found it a little dull. It would no doubt be more enjoyable on a hot summers day.

Bottle from De Wildeman, Amsterdam. British real ales donít usually succeed as bottled beers, but this is an exception. Light bodied beer with wonderful bittering hops, very citrusy, grapefruit almost. A great success except for the lable, which to me looks cheap and tacky. Iíve yet to have a beer from this brewery that I didnít rave about to anyone standing nearby.

[CASK: The Three Guineas, Reading, Berks 24/08/06] The pump clip promised so much... unfortunatly not very good. Pale in colour and a sweet taste but overall unimpressed.

(Cask, The Wharf, Aalborg) - Golden colour, With a fruity nose, and a fresh grassy, hoppy flavour and a dry malty finish....
