Bottle from Sainsburys, Folkestone shared with McTapps. Fine one with a decent hoppy start and a decent mild bitter ending. Simple one with a bit of rye, some grass and hay. Drinkable, easy going piwo with a touch of straw towards the end.

Surprised at how good this beer is. Definite American style to the hopping over what I guess is English pale malt. Quite bitter result but clean and zingy. Get a bit of floral but orange blossom and back to my regular marmalade analogy. This time fine cut from Waitrose. Itís a classy beer!

Bottle. Kept in my dark cellar after buying but as itís in a clear bottle it may have been affected on its supermarket shelf and came out tasting malty and skunky and a touch soapy. Golden, next to no head.

Bottle that Dad shared- cheers. Light amber with a moderate white head. Some lemon, lime and pine but itís all very restrained. Little bitterness. OK flavourwise, just needs less timid use of the hops. Champion beer of Britain? I really donít think so.

Appearance: Clear amber with thin white head. Aroma: Citrus fruit, biscuit, slight skunk, slightly earthy/grassy/hay note. Taste: Low sweetness, medium bitterness and sourness. Palate: Smooth thick texture, light body, low carbonation, abrupt astringent grapefruit like bitterness and slightly sour finish. The bitterness increases in the finish. Comments: Enjoyable but quite bitter. Left a glass lace.
