*Old rating from 2012. Nettes typisches Golden-Ale mit interessantem aber etwas neutral-bitterem Hopfen. Süffig mit typischen Ale-Aromen und moderater Süße. Nett.

500ml Bottle from Bargain Booze, New Mills. Deep golden beer. Sweet, aroma of malt and straw. Taste sweet, malty and pleasant, slightly bland but that’s typical from the style. Blandness redeemed by some spicy hop character.

Bottle from Sainsburys, Folkestone shared with McTapps. Fine one with a decent hoppy start and a decent mild bitter ending. Simple one with a bit of rye, some grass and hay. Drinkable, easy going piwo with a touch of straw towards the end.

Surprised at how good this beer is. Definite American style to the hopping over what I guess is English pale malt. Quite bitter result but clean and zingy. Get a bit of floral but orange blossom and back to my regular marmalade analogy. This time fine cut from Waitrose. It’s a classy beer!
