Credit where credit is due. This is a very nice easy to drink (when cold) light nicely carbonated beer. I could drink a lot of this and If you can get hold of it give it a go. Citrus overtones and happy afternoons. Enjoy. Well done castlerock.

A well hopped golden ale, clean and fruity, slightly sweet malt. The hop character builds gradually and eventually dominates the long lingering finish. Nice, could certainly sup a few of these. Morrisons.

Love my blonde beers and this easily available beer fits the bill. Has some taste and well worth buying a few so you have themto drink together

Bottle from Morrisons. Enjoyable bottle. A light hoppy aroma with a slight grassy/citrus hint. A pale gold colour with white, light frothy head. A pleasant, refreshing bitterness but with extra depth.

50cl bottle from Morrisons. Pale gold in colour with a ring of white head; piney, resinous aroma; clean, sharp hoppy taste with some citrus and honeyed sweetness; and a dry bitter finish. A good attempt at bottling this style.

Bottle, bought @ Voldby Købmandsgård.
Pours clear golden with a small, creamy, white film head. Aroma has a hint of butterscotch behind fruity notes, piney hops, grassy notes and peach. Medium carbonation, dry and fairly light mouthfeel. Flavour has a soft malty core, and great stinging bitterness. Long and lingering. Grassy, slightly piney, quite flowery. Nice.

Bottle (500ml, Fenwicks, Newcastle):
Sweet but quite light on the nose, there is some nice gentle hops and a touch of floral notes to go with some grass and a little citrus too. Not a whole lot going on really but nothing off-putting or offensive either.
Bright orange to golden amber colour with a nice, two fingers tall head that is bubbly and leaves some lacing on the side of the glass as well. This one looks quite lively.
Sweet medium strength bitterness shinning through, there is some floral flavours and some grassy hops too along with some bread and malts towards the end. Again nothing overly complex but quite nicely done and enjoyable too.
Smooth, medium bodied and wet to begin with, it has medium to high carbonation with a very slightly dry in the finish.

Light tasting beer with a good balance and very good drinkability, one of the nicest things about the beer is the palate and how easy it was to finish. It’s a good beer and one I’d have again.
