Cask at the Ye Olde Foundry, Dudley. Poured a clear straw colour with a frothy white head and lots of clingy lace. The aroma is yeast, light malt citrus. The flavour is light bitter with a light malt hop bitter palate. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Not so much going on but I totally get this beer!

Aroma: flowery hops, caramel. Appearance: clear light gold, medium white head. Taste: light sweet and bitter. Palate: citrusy hops, bitters getting quite intense, average-long duration. Overall: nice Golden Ale, a bit on the bitter side in palate. Pint at Cat & Canary, Canary Wharf.

Cask in the Vat and Fiddle, Nottingham. A golden ale with a slight white head. I expected more from this given how well it seems to be regarded locally. Some grapefruit notes in the finish. Itís refreshing and goes down easy, but itís just not very interesting.
