Hand pulled at the Red Lion, Shirley, West Mids. Golden beer, creamy head. Absolutely superb - beautifully conceived and exciting. Tip top balance of light, firm hops and lime citrus flavour. Crispy, clean, smooth, fresh and full of taste - way beyond it’s 3.8%!! Drinkable beyond belief.

Cask at the Swan in the Rushes, Loughborough. Pale golden ale with a nice white head and good lacing. Hoppy aroma. Dry fruity hop flavour. Nice enough, but a bit thin and too weak on the alcohol front to be a favourite.

A very pale looking ale with a wonderful aroma. The taste just bursts with a very floral and fruity flavour.I noted grapefruit and wine gums. This was tremendous and not to be missed. I would put this straight into my top 5 this year.

Very pale yellow colour, almost lager-like. Obvious Cascade aromas. Tangy citric hop flavours, with just a hint of malt. Dry but soft finish. Just a slight lack of bite and complexity denies this a higher rating. Still a very well made, thirst-quenching beer. Cask (handpump), The Victoria, Lincoln
