3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask - Alexandra Hotel, Derby. Poured a clear golden yellow with a small, foamy-creamy, lasting white head, lacing the glass edges. Bright, prickly citric hops, a touch of grassiness and subtle yeasty notes. Crisp on the palate, lemony with a sharpish edge and a citric, pithy bitterness. Medium(ish), spritzy carbonation, short to medium, balanced finish on a light, refreshing body. Perhaps served a touch cold but otherwise fine. Good in all but beer of Britain?
