UPDATED: FEB 4, 2008 On cask at the Lincolnshire Poacher, Nottingham (although this is a regular favourite of mine). Delightful floral aroma, really full hop flavour with floral and citrus notes. Thoroughly enjoyable at any time. This beer is probably my all-time favourite.

Wallington Festival. A thoroughly enjoyable, thirst quenching, flavoursome, exciting and fascinating session bitter. Long, deep and wide noble hop finish - a top end pilsner bitter burn, but with interesting twists and turns, added to a citric fruity malt base that lager brewers can only dream about. This beer has everything - and its all packed into a bundle under 4%. Awesome - this is what British brewing is all about.

This light, flavoursome Golden Ale is all round superb in taste, appearance and palate. A little more bitter than sweet, but well balanced. It’s distinct hops flavours give it a distinct, crisp clear finish. Easily drank, very much enjoyed and worthy champion amongst its competitors!

A very pale looking ale with a wonderful aroma. The taste just bursts with a very floral and fruity flavour.I noted grapefruit and wine gums. This was tremendous and not to be missed. I would put this straight into my top 5 this year.

Very refreshing. Certainly worth tracking down. Apparently it was the National Society of Independent Brewers Champion Bitter in 2004

Hand pulled at the Red Lion, Shirley, West Mids. Golden beer, creamy head. Absolutely superb - beautifully conceived and exciting. Tip top balance of light, firm hops and lime citrus flavour. Crispy, clean, smooth, fresh and full of taste - way beyond it’s 3.8%!! Drinkable beyond belief.

Cask Conditioned at Banbury Beer Festival '04. Wheaty Gold colour with good bubbly head. Thinninsh light malty base with a lemony aromatic hop overlay. Grapefruity and bitter though refreshing. A very nice beer.
