On tap at The Orange Tree, Nottingham. The perfect session ale and my regular tipple for after work drinks. Pale - yes - with a big head and a pleasant hoppy character whilst remaining thoroughly drinkable. Much better than the stronger bottled version.

Very pale in colour with a decent head. Nicely hopped with some citrus, a very enjoyable and easy-drinking session ale.

At Knott Bar M/Cr. Had two great pints after footy and could have stayed for many more, but the thought of my wife shouting at me after an impromptu session swayed me away

Poured with a good creamy head, with a pale golden-yellowish complexion, smells fruity and hoppy and tastes sweet and tangy with a dry finish. Very refreshing, splendid ale.

Three hand-pulled pints for Sunday lunch on 18 Nov 2012 @ The Wrekin Inn, Wellington, Shropshire. Completely different drink to the bottled version: this is miles better. Pours the pale golden colour you’d expect with a good head that stays. Great blend of flavours give the beer a slightly maltier feel than hoppy, although there is a dry bitter finish from the hops that takes over two thirds of the way through each gulp. Very, very easy to drink (hence my three pints) and leaning towards sweet; it suits my taste buds nicely. Good body depth and I can now understand how it got to win its various awards.

On cask at Babelas, Leicester. Pale gold colour, fruity aroma. Fruity hoppy taste. A go to beer for me.

Big foamy head clears quickly to a golden yellow pint. Fresh clean citrus taste with just right hops balance. Always hits the spot. Orange Tree Cask in Nottingham.

Pint at the Old Fox Felling. Clear Pale Gold with a white head. Cereal aroma, carried through with a hayfield flavour. Nicely hopped, a light bodied refresher.
