COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask: Special - 2011. Bottle is "Brewed and bottled under licence in the UK for Castle Rock".
Castle Rock brewery announced plans to celebrate the marriage of HRH Prince William to Kate Middleton in the best way it knows how – by brewing a special real ale. Called Kiss Me Kate, it is available on draught at Castle Rock and many other local pubs for the full month in the run up to the wedding on Friday 29 April 2011. A limited amount available in bottles for memento collectors and for laying aside to toast future royal events.

Cask Handpump at the Rook & Gaskill, York 16/04/2011 Hop aroma. White head. Light golden coloured and slightly hazy in appearance. Fruity with some alcohol present. A hint of dryness in a bitter malt finish.

Cask, Criterion, Leicester. Amber gold with an off-white foam. Aromas are biscuit and raspberry with yeast and pepper. Autumn leaves with cookie dough. Flavours are dry tea leaf with bitter lemon. Chocolate malts with peppery hops. Possibly the best thing about the royal wedding.
