Cask Handpump at the Alexandra, Derby 18/03/2006 Mid brown coloured with some floral aroma. Citrus fruit flavoured. Crisp and slightly bitter on the palate with a malt finish. Called in to the Alex on the way home from Leicester beer festival after talking earlier in the day with haddonsman and finding out he had a hand in the brewing of this one so I thought I would give it a try. I noticed this had also been bottled, a few of these being on sale at the bar.

Cask gravity at Ealing BF 2007. Amber, bubbly off white head. Bit of diacetyl aroma. It’s an alright bitter, but the buttery diacetyl ruins it.

Bottle conditioned. Brown colour with large off-white head. Fruity aroma. Malty and fruity taste with some light bitterness. Medium bodied, quite highly carbonated. Pretty good.
