Cask conditioned at Far From the Madding Crowd, Oxford. Ruby brown with cream head. Smooth chocolatey beer, rich on the palate, sweetish but with a backgound bitterness, some roastiness, really quite enjoyable.

Cask Handpump at the Spitting Feathers Brewery Tap, Chester 29/04/2011 Fruit and hop aromas. Mid brown dark coloured a little rich on the palate and hoppy with a hint of bitterness and dryness in a slightly roast flavoured full malt finish.
