Smells like a basket of fruit. Pours a dull golden color. I really enjoyed it right off the top, the hops hit you like a brickwall. I will definitely be smuggling some back.

From cask. Pours dark brown with no lasting head. Roasted malt and breadish. Roasted malt, mild fruity and with a light bitterness coming through. Crisp fruity bitterness into the finish.

Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Pale straw colour, small white head. Sweet, soapy floral aroma, slightly artificial and not very promising. Taste begins similarly, but soon delivers a grape and apple fruitiness with a pleasant strawy aftertaste. A long, intense bitter finish. This is one of those beers that you don’t like at first, but ends up being rather appealing.
