Half, cask at Alexandra Hotel in Derby. A white tophead to a clear golden coloured body. Fair lacework. Fruity aroma with peach to the fore. Mild fruity taste of orange and peach, pale malts beneaht. Moderate bittersweet end. Thin to medium bodied. Okay (22.02.2015).

Castle Rock Snowwhite. Cask @ Joshua Brooks, Manchester. Blonde ale with a thin head. Has a light but evident enough spiciness that does linger long in the palate. It’s in its nose too and has a decent light drinkable texture.

On cask at Congress, Longton. Pale golden with fast diminishing white head. Quite a thin golden brew with a touch of light fruit. Ok if a little underwhelming.

Cask at the Purple Turtle, Reading. Thin white head. Gold body. Lemony, hops, spice, nutty. Bitter and tangy with a dry finish. Watery palate. Tastes like homebrew. Not great.

Cask at the Parcel Yard, Fuller’s - Kings Cross, London. Pretty bleak, to be honest. Lots of astringency, dry dough, bitter hay. Light bodied with soft to fine carbonation. Mellow pale malt sweetness to finish with further bitter and astringent hay. Not very good.

Cask at the Waggon and Horses, Twyford. Pale straw with a white head; citrusy aroma; sweet biscuity body; and a clean finish with a touch of citrus. A pleasant enough golden ale.

Cask.Very light straw yellow color. Thin white head, citric nose with a farmyardy background. Very malty start for such a light ale, reminds of Deuchards IPA

Cask. Light gold with a thick white head. Nose is nettles, lemon and malts. Taste is sweeter and maltier than expected. Quite creamy, very sweet. Milk, slight lemon curd, pastry. Slight burnt sugar. Tasty and easy to drink, but not much pizazz.
