1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 radiomgb (2078) - Peterborough, - AUG 27, 2007
Very pale golden yellow in colour, initial head is quite large, dissipates quickly to a white coloured head ring, some light lacing, noticable carbonation. The aroma starts off grainy, overpowering corn, cooked vegetables, very mild grassy hops, moderate sweetness. The flavour is of pale malts, very grainy, metallic, moderately sweet, lots of creamed corn. Gassy sweet mouthfeel, light body, high carbonation. Finishes watery, thin, cloyingly sweet. Quite offensive, leave it to the LCBO to bring this one in, I’m sure it will sell very well.
375ml can from the LCBO in Peterborough, Ontario for $11.50 a 6-pack.
Purchased on June 2, 2007 and opened on June 22, 2007.
Best before January 12, 2008.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 larsga (4661) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 23, 2012
Medium offwhite head. Clear amber body with light carbonation. Light grainy earthy aroma with peppery cardboard notes. Dry-sweetish nutty caramel taste with wooden notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, smooth mouthfeel. Dryish sugary caramel aftertaste with cinnamon notes. Nice. Quite drinkable. Perhaps a tad sweet and bland. (0.33l bottle, Taste, Hang Hao, Hong Kong.)
1.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20 jimthechap (795) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - DEC 2, 2011
Crisp golden colour with a fluffy white head that sits and lingers on top of the beer. Smells a bit funky to be fair. It came out of a can and smells a bit tinny too. There’s malt on the nose but it isn’t terribly pleasant.
The taste is a bit nothing. At slightly above fridge temperature theres a hint of slightly sweet malt and little else. A good quaffer but very little merit otherwise. Tastes better than it smells.

0.375 l bottle, thanks Sampo! Golden color. Sweetish honeyish aroma with diesel. Sweetish honeyish and fruity flavor with caramel, corn and fruity bitterness in finish. Spritzy palate. Not interesting but not unpleasant either.

light straw color and good carbonation, but not lasting and little lacing, unpleasant bitter aftertaste in mouth and no malt balance.

Bottle. Pours an average glassy yellow with a nice white head and a lively body. Aroma is Outback corn, roasted malt, and a touch of rose. Flavor is corn, malt, and a hoppy floral essence. Average mouthfeel. Probably better after a long day in western Australia.
1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 michclark (88) - AUSTRALIA - MAY 9, 2011
slightly better than XXXX:gold but only because the beer has a little more flavour and aroma and i mean a little. The finish is rather abrupt but still has some good lingering flavour
1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 Nickls (1342) - SE DC, Washington DC, USA - APR 25, 2011
Bottle. In case anyone was wondering, this is probably the cheapest beer that you can buy in the Marshall Islands...and it certainly delivers like it. Light yellow copper hue. Maltier aroma with some cardboard and dark fruits. More of a hop presence than other pale lagers available in the arear. Denser, but still fairly light bodied. Pretty bad, but not the worst.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 cagou007 (66) - FRANCE - NOV 12, 2010
Appearance is OK, but the taste is without any interest ! Some malt flavour, but that’s all. No interesting aromas, just a lively carbonation. Nevertheless, it remains one of the best beer for students parties !!
