rmussman (687), California, USA Jul 7, 2008 Overall this brew is quite bad. Has very little flavor, cheap malts. Not worthy a try. patrick767 (1396), fort wayne, Indiana, USA Jul 1, 2008 bottle sold as XXXX Export at 3 Alley in Seoul - I’m not completely sure the export version is the same beer (I believe Export is 4.5% abv and this listing says its 3.5%), but I think it’s pretty forgettable either way. It pours clear gold with a one finger white head. There’s a light pale malt aroma. The flavor is of lightly sweet malt and a little mild hops. It’s not a bad flavor, but like so many beers of this style there just isn’t much there to enjoy either. It’s thin on the palate and finish with minimal flavor. Oh well, at least it’s better than many pale lagers, which isn’t saying much. thesimmos (13), Brisbane, Australia May 1, 2008 When I think of QLD one of the first things I think of is XXXX and the next is mid stength beer. When it comes to midstrength mainstream beer, this one reigns supreme. a well rounded flavour that almost tastes like Queensland itself. Rough and raw yet strangely familiar and palatable. 3.5% and worth every drop. unless your paying at a sporting venue full price.... mr_scotty (25), Australia Feb 29, 2008 lovely clear bronze colour, if clear. Taste is watery but not at all unpleasant.. pretty weak and watery but a good blend of wheat and grass, Nicely carbonated too. Watery and empty, but not a bad lager... better than victorian beers. KimJohansen (3026), Copenhagen V, Denmark Feb 24, 2008 Clear golden with medium head. Aroma has grassy and metal notes. Grassy flavor with light hoppy notes. Finishes dry.
