HUGE thanks to emacgee for this growler fill... a very clear straw with a nice white ring, looks great for a handbottle... interesting yet very strange aroma, musky, but extraordinarily sweet, lemons, and a chemical base throughout, just not really sure what the heck is going on here... No clue what I’m tasting here, some kind of cleaning solvent? lemons, lactic, with alcohol, sour lemon milk? I’d assume this went bad but other reviews are right on with this, no clue what they were going for on this

Nose of footcheese and rubber band farts. Taste is slightly better, but still very farty and cheesy in the worst possible way. Glad they are taking a stab at the style, but please try again.

Growler from TJs. Pours a very light translucent clean yellow with one finger of frothy white head. Nose is...odd, mousy with notes of sock and some phenolics. Some lemongrass and a light acidity. Flavor is phenolic and odd. Tart. Odd.

Cloudy yellow pour with white head and lace Aroma is strange but cheese and a hint of paper. Good just tart/sour flavor. A tad thin and watery but a sure fire refresher

sampled at 2010 Knoxville Brewer’s Jam. Nice yellow color with tiny white head. The aroma is very strong cheese with a little bit of a lemon note. The flavor is twangy lemon, grain, and some cheesy funk, maybe some mildew notes in the finish. Probably funkier than they intended, but I like it.

UPDATED: SEP 24, 2010 Brewgrass 2010 - Man, what a weird aroma - I swear I can smell Cheddar Cheese. Oh, sure you get plenty of that citrusy flavor you expect with Berliner Weisse, but that cheese smell was...odd. Tastes better that it smells, luckily, with a lot of tangy and slightly sour notes, plus plenty of citrus. But that aroma...man...
