3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Very well done - Caraway appears on top of good caramel malt; finish adds just enough hop bitter to bring the sweetness back to the middle. Easy-drinking, sessionable, enjoyable. Recommended.

This beer was interesting, to say the least. Poured a hazy amber hue. Smelled of licorice and cough syrup. Unfortunately, I don’t like either of those things. Tasted of star anise (licorice) and peppermint; like I said, interesting.
