COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
As regal as the Queen Mother, The Matriarch was brewed with a unique blend of chamomile flowers, local honey and local pear juice. Her majesty flaunts a deep gold complexion and holds a thick, white head. The bouquet is elusive and conceals hints of orange marmalade, sugar mice, chamomile, royal jelly, pear compote and light spicy alcohol. The taste is similar with suggestions of honeysuckle, caramelized pears, juicy fruit gum and honey smacks followed a slightly sweet, warm alcohol backbone. Allow her majesty to warm slightly for an even more complex experience.

On tap at the Thirsty Monk in Asheville. Hazy golden pour with smallish head. Nose of honey, honeysuckle, chamomile, and booze. Also pear skins, floral notes and powder. Taste adds candied pineapple.
