12 oz can from Suttree. Pale straw yellow pour with a small white head, decent lacing. Aroma of coriander, wheat, wit spice, mild orange. Flavor is nice, subtle. Typical wit notes. Lots of well-rounded notes of wheat and coriander. Light bodied, refreshing. Solid amount of carbonation. Finishes dry and refreshing. Nice wit here from North Carolina! Very cool to try.

UPDATED: APR 29, 2012 12 oz can. Hazy golden with a lasting quarter inch of meringue foam above. Nose is lemon peel, saltine crackers, honey and a hint of dry grass. Taste is the same with some additional coriander. Light body is softly carbonated and fairly well balanced.

Can from Bruisin Ales (4.7% ABV). Pours hazy gold with a creamy/foamy white head. The aroma is zest, and seems more lemon than orange. ? Near medium body. The flavor is zest (still seems lemon) with wheat and a touch of sage. The wheat is actually flavorful. This is way better than most American wits I’ve tried. I think it’s underrated.

12 oz. can from Bruisin Ales. Lucid yellow pour. A bit concerned, poured like a pissy macro. The aroma changed my mind. Nice citrus-lemony waft. Very nice floral notes. Tasted like a "neutered" little Belgian brew. The high abv has been yanked out. But it is very quaffable. The finish was very much like that of a lightweight Belgian. Easy drinking lawnmower beer. Cool graphics on the can also. Resembles like some R. Crumb-esque art.

Draft at Carolina theaters. Pours yellow with a thin white head. Not much on the nose or tongue. Pretty bland for the style.

Growler from Bruisin Ales. Pours clear yellow, white bubbles. Aroma of lemongrass, citrus zest, wheat malt, and rubbed coriander. Flavor of lemons and full of wheat malt, a bit of whole coriander taste as well. Light bodied and totally refreshing. One of the best and the most refreshing Wheat Ale I’ve ever had. So glad there is a half gallon of this stuff on my fridge.
