COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Although named as a Halloween seasonal, White Zombie’s refreshing taste makes it a year round staple. It is brewed according to the Belgian Witbier tradition of using unmalted wheat to create the light body and white sheen. Additions of coriander and orange peel give it a fruity and spicy character, while the hops are subtle and lightly detected. Don’t be scared to blow the head off a Zombie and drink up!

Pretty standard wit. Bought for the name alone. Crisp and clean, nicely spiced and fruity, nothing special or above the norm.

draft to sampler. poured a cloudy white color with minimal white head. aroma was of mild wheat, orange and spice. pretty basic and the flavor was pretty basic as well. nothing really stands out just more of the flavor. drinkable and such but just seems to lack in body and overall flavor.

Can from Chris’ Carolina tour....pours foggy light yellow with minimal head; no lacing. Nose is orange / spice; slight hope in initial taste. OK but not great....good girl beer. Don’t hate me...my wife called it that.

Not bad, pretty standard for a weitbeir. cloudy yellow color with an almost nonexistent head that disappeared immediately. nice strong aroma of strawberries and citrus. taste is that of lemon peels with a slight hint of coriander. a bit light bodied but to be expected for the varietal. decent carbonation. finishes somewhat sweetly, yet a touch of tartness.

Can at Wallys wedding. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with lots of spice. Super bland, but not too much clove or banana. No aggressive yeast. Decent.

Draft sample at Cedric’s Tavern at the Biltmore near Asheville, NC; hazy bright golden color with white head. Aroma notes of wheat malt sweetness, grass/hay, citrus and coriander spice. Taste adds orange zest and light earthy/grass bitterness. Light body, moderate carbonation, crisp with wheat spice finish. May be a tad too spice dominated, but light and refreshing enough.
