Cask at The New Oxford, Manchester. A yellow beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of malt and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and straw, leading to a lightly bitter finish. Somewhat boring.

Cask, Criterion, Leicester. Hazy gold with a small white foam. Aromas are light caramel and citrus with yeast. Some hints of melon. Flavours are fruity with melon. Sweet biscuit malts with spritzy yeast. Dry on the finish. Overall a bit dull.

Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, toasted, fruity, light to moderate hoppy, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090121]
