This traditional White Ale is faithful to the Belgian style with its light body, cloudy color and touch of spice. A complex, refreshing ale that’s perfect for any season.

Bright gold orange colored beer with a large off white head. The nose has lots of lemons and a little bit of clove. There is also a little bit of sweet almonds. The taste is slightly bitter with a little bit of lemon peel. There is also some clove in the finish. Hints of raw dough are a little yeasty, especially in the aftertaste.

22oz. Bottle: Got in trade from phaleslu; THANKS Peter! Aroma of malt, slight Belgian yeast, light spice, orange, light wheat, and slight coriander. Poured amber/orange in color with a small, off-white/tan head that greatly diminished but lasted around the edges. Cloudy. Sparkling. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of wheat, grain, slight Belgian yeast, light spice, and some coriander. Medium body. Average texture. Average carbonation. Medium sweet, malt, Belgian yeast, slight spice finish.

Draught at Sycamore. Lemon. Wheat. Yeast plays a role. Decent body for the style. Some unintended - or I think unintended - funkiness at the end. Overall, not bad.

Pours hazy orange / amber with a fluffy white head. The aroma has rich wheat, plenty of orange and low on the spice. Medium body that’s a bit slick with a low amount of soft carbonation. The flavor starts out with orange and wheat, fairly rich for the style, and minor phenols. The finish show minor coriander, is a touch chalky, has fuller citrus and slight plastic notes. A decent wit.

Courtesy of Strykzone via a trade. Thanks. Pour is a hazy gold with a white head and light lacing. Nose is citrus and wheat. Body is light and mouthfeel is smooth. The flavor is citrus with a hint of banana,. Not much finish. OK, but a bit underwhelming

Pour is a murky looking orange with a small white head. Aroma is great. Lots of grain, corriander and a nice helping of clove. Flavor is also decent but less pronounced. A heavy malt hits you at first then some spice and corriander. A decent easy drinking wit. Also I think that the 9% alcohol is incorrect. If I’m not then its no where to be seen.

22 oz bottle purchased at The Wine and Cheese Shop in St Louis, Missouri. Pour is a hazy orange yellow golden with a one inch white head that falls pretty quickly. Aroma is straw wheat, earthy and natural. There is also a mineral flinty element which complements the wheat nicely. The spice is present, but light. Taste is citric wheat up front, cloves and lemon citrus behind that, closes out with the grassy wheat earthiness. Decent integration of flavors, though clove spice did jump out a bit. Palate has a nice silky mouth feel, along with a dry crisp finish. Tasty drinkable beer.
