3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 bvc (1108) - Kenmore, Washington, USA - FEB 19, 201122oz bottle, thanks Tim. Pours a cramel golden with a small loose white head. Nose is sweet, estery with soapy floral and caramel malt. Tastes like wort with light carbonation. Soapy, floral, honey, biscuit malt...light hop bittering on the end.

Bottle. Pours a reddish color with white head. Caramel, earthy aromas. Bitter, earthy, caramel flavors. Not really a lot of hoppy flavor here. Hmm... Where are the hops?

This beer’s aroma is purely citrus hops, but the appearance is a clear copper color with a medium, off-white head. The taste is mildly bitter and a touch sweet, and the palate combines a bitter finish, medium body, slick texture, and a soft carbonation.

22 ounce bottle. Pours a cloudy amber with a decent white head. Aroma of citrus, pine, and yeast. Taste is citrus, pine, yeast, malt, and grass. Not sure about this IPA. Missed the mark.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 ArrogantDusty (40) - Missouri, USA - FEB 19, 2013
Pours a nice dark amber color. Has a small amount of head that is tan in color and goes away quickly. Definitely not transparent. A very hazy appearance.
I get a fruity smell or orange and lemon right in the front of my nose. A nice roasted malt character, and hops that pack some punch.

Pouring at Belgian Beer Fest. Pours a hazed amber brown with a thin white head. Floral and sweet, fruity rosehips. Huge carbonation, overly floral. Oxidization, caramel and plums. This is an IPA? Really chewy oxidized malt, old plums, long pungent bitterness and musk.

Opening surprise, very high carbonation, aroma light citrus, cloudy with very frothy head, emphasis on bitterness on start and finish fallow, probably good for cigar sitting instead of any type of dinner.

The beer is a deep, dark orange. Taste is bitter hops with a yeasty resinous flavor, with a touch of pine. Tastes old and musty and not very good. I was very excited about this one but dissappointed. I’ve enjoyed every belgian ipa thats entered my gullet, except this one.

Thanks to seymore. Nice amber pour with a light head. A bit cloudy. Great big citrus aroma with plenty of big Belgian yeast aroma. Orange citrus. Quite a bitter brew. Wow. Spice and earthy hops on top of a light Belgian flavored ale. Grain and grass come to mind. Very bitter. Well carbonated, dry mouth feel.
