Pours an orange color with a small white head. Some caramel and agave. I don't really think it works. Wouldn't try again.

The aroma of this beer smells of toasted malts and light of agave nectar; also, the appearance combines a hazy straw color with a medium head that fades quickly to a ring. Once sipped, the taste is mildly sour and slightly sweet, which is very reminiscent of a pilsner, and the palate combines a sour finish, a medium body, slick texture, and soft carbonation.

Bottle. Pours gold with a white head. Sweet and grainy malts, with some light honey-like sweetness, and light earthy and flowery notes. Pretty good.

Slightly hazy amber beer, little white head. Light and crispy palate. Minerals. Mild caramel malt. Trace of honey sweetness. Mild citric orange. Semi dry finish with a carbonated sting. Not too bad but could do with more hops!

Poured a very light yellow with a smallish white head. Some agave aroma, and also the aroma of grass and mango. A light flavor of agave and some earthiness. Hmmmmm. Don’t know much about this style.

The beers under the Cathedral Square label are impressing me after just a couple of interactions. This one is a good experiment that doesn’t try to go too far out on a limb. It may be an acquired taste but I don’t think I would object to having it again.

Aroma / Appearance - A seedy semi-transparent base pours lightly and carefree as a warm summer in the Deep South. The pure white head is like a dollop of Cool Whip. Honey, noble hops, and liquified desert cactus mix into a malty base with a thin layer of dust.

Flavor / Palate - Start by pouring the inside of a half melted Mars Bar down your throat to get a sense for the initial taste. Creamy caramel and a trace sweetness fade into sourdough yeast. The wheaty finish tastes like someone spread cactus essence over a wheat thin. A very novel release but one worth trying if you are tired of seeking the white whales and want to go local / regional.
