A deep blond color which is developing a dense foam. Sweetness of the alcohol and honey scent. Complex olfactory outcome essentially hopping with taste of citrus fruits and undergrowth wet hay-grass). Sugar free dry beer, extremely light with a smooth input of mouth due to alcohol. As second taste, a nice bitterness. Taste any length and persistence for a unique pleasure. Natural effervescence, very round in the mouth.

Tatse this more times (first march ’13) bottles 33 cl. Hazy orange to amber color, with white creamy head. Aroma: sweet, malts, hops. Medium body. Taste: some sweet start, grainy-malts, fruits, nice hops, good bitterness. A pleasure for drinking. For me = the best of the ’28’ serie.

When I first met the guys from this brewery, I thought they had something to do with Caulier of Péruwelz, but apparently this is not the case (I would personally have chosen another name for the brewery then, but anyway). This triple version of the regular Caulier 28 has a yellowish white, stable head and warm orange blonde, misty colour. The aroma is quite powerful, lots of fruit, pear, gooseberry, caramel, white chocolate, grass, champagne. Malt sweetness in the mouth, well rounded and bit resinous but still a relatively light mouthfeel especially in relation to its strength; caramelly and nutty, yeasty hints, finishing in a refreshing, grassy hoppiness. So far their best beer, in my opinion.

stable yellowish head, disapears with foamhead and structured lacing. amber colour. aroma is bit oxidized, reminds of a barleywine, dill pickles, sugarsweet, citrus, boozy. taste like aroma and rather sweet with a weak bitter finish. quite dense mouthfeel, soft carbonation. abv well hidden. very atypical tripel in both aroma and flavour. liked this one! bottle 33 cl

More amber than gold, hazy. Good carbonation with nice foam top. Very hoppy nose, hops and orange dominate the aroma. Some alcohol too, Dry orange peel medium finish.

Nicely hazy orange colour, white creamy head. Hoppy aroma fills the nostrils accompanied by roasted, sweet malts. Taste is likewise, Belgian-big hoppy (orange, peach, strawberry) and malty (grainy, caramel, honey) flavours, a little acidic yeast next to sugar-free (?) sweetness and bitterness, nice alcoholic burn. Oily mouthfeel, medium carbonation, firm body. Very enjoyable, Belgian-style imperial IPA imo.

tap at moeder: Hazy peach coloured looks with a small white head. Nose is quite synthetic with soap, spices and thick yeast. Bitter soap taste, feels somewhat synthetic with bitter orange peel, touch marmalade, bitter spices.

UPDATED: MAY 13, 2014 Une couleur peu habituelle (Orange) mais intéressante.
