The aroma has sweetness and notes of candy sugar, raisin and malt. The flavour has sweetness, notes of raisin, alcohol, candy sugar, caramel and light dark fruit. The alcohol is rather crude. NoiZe (1055), Mooi Zeist, Netherlands Sep 21, 2008 Amber colored brew. Sweet, fruity aroma. Flavor is sweet, too sugary. Mild fruity. The acidic, alcoholic flavor is not nice. harrisoni (5605), Ashford, Kent, England Sep 8, 2008 Bottle from Dranken Geers. Bit of a gusher I guess. Hazy amber, thin white head. Quite a fruity beer. I’ve only had 2 Bon Secour beers, but I’ve enjoyed them both. This is a bit like a fruity amber. Good body, well balanced flavours, some hop. Can’t really say why I like it, but I do. Nice hops. Fruit malt and yeast.
