Hazy copper-brown body with a filmy off-white head. Dark honey and caramel aroma. Very sweet, worty flavor. Based on this beer and the blonde, they’re obviously not attenuating their yeasts very well. This beer strikes me as half-finished with not much depth of character.

Clear deep reddy orange with virtually no head. Aroma is swet and candy like with a similar flavour.

11.2oz. bottle. Hazy dark amber color with a huge, foamy off white head. Nice aroma of caramel, raisins and freshly baked bread. Mildly sweet malty flavor with lots of caramel, dried fruits and yeast. Finishes fairly dry.

A Mes rate: 33cl bottle at Lowlander. Hoppy aroma with a hint of germoline. Great appearance. On the golden side of amber and a huge thick pillowy head no matter how gentle the pour coupled with the most ridiculous chunky lacing I have ever seen. Apple and slight spice in the flavour. Lovely spritzy mouthfeel with an unexpected creamy finish. Much better than the other Bon Secours I have tried.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Sparkling amber with persistant head. Aroma of spice, toasty malt, orangey hop, candy sugar. Fairly sweet in the mouth but with a licoricey astringency along with hop in the finish.

A nice amber colour with a fluffy white head. The aroma is a bit malty. The flavour is boring and the aftertaste disgusting. (Bottle 33cl)

The murky brown brew’s aroma is awash in raisins and caramel. Absolutely amazing nose. Capped by a slight white head, the initial mouthfeel is sour, sweetening quickly into a long caramel sweet finish. Doughy yeast flavors abound and easch sip brings a new flavor to the forefront. Complex and emminently enjoyable, this burly brew needs an equally burly food to match.

Bottle. Muddy brown with an off-white head. Aromas are sweet malts, Ovaltine, fruit and sticky toffee. Flavours are sweet malts with dry powdery cocoa. Fruity and smooth with yeast and spices. Not bad.
