Reasonably clear orange-amber; good, yellowish head. Fresh toilet soap-like aroma, grassy, bit of caramel. Outspoken caramel flavour. Not very sweet, however. Malty, not roasted - unless there’s some Maillard. Medium bodied at best, alcohol there but not annoyingly. Light acidity in the aftertaste, and a straw aroma. No beer ought to taste according to some silly style rules, IMO. But this beer seems to try to pull in three or more directions at once, without arriving anywhere. My least favourite of the three.

Bottled. Brown with grey tones. Aroma brings yeast, malt and some caramel. Flavour seems quite hoppy and finishes nutty.

Amber’s the name, amber’s the color, with a nicely dotted layer of white foam atop. Aroma’s on the shy side, to put it politely, but opens up after a time, showing yeast, citrus, spice, but ever-so mildly. taste: nice little buzz, fruity, malty, with a keen blitz of hops, followed by a honeyish flavor, mixed well with plum and cherries, currants and coriander. Nice taste, just not extraordinary. Medium-bodied, fully carbonated, with a long, spicy, fruity finish. A decent enough drink, gets medicinal at the end, though, a bit too sweet and thick in the mouth for me. Actually, now that I’ve finished the bottle, it feels utterly obnoxious, too nutty, too carbonated, and it’s not a terribly pleasant flavor, so I’ve got to kick it down a notch.

Sweet notes, cherry skin, yeast, malty, caramel. Cloudy dark amber with white foamy lacing head. Medium-thick body with active carbonation. Starts sweet and vapory, with fruit tartness and no bitterness. Finish is less sweet, with more acidity, salty, and alcohol vapors. Warming. After is light nutty, sweet, with a small amount of bitterness.

Light amber in color bordering pale. Little fuzzy head. The aroma has a hint of anise and spice. The overall flavor is complementary to the aroma with a slight roasted malt character. Overall well balanced with a clean finish.

Sampled at the Southside Beer Expo. Hazy brown body under a big head, nicely roasted to a nutty sweetness. Aging really does help this become mellow yet complex.

Hazy golden/yellow. Some yeast flaoting in it, great lasting white head. Aroma is yeasty and brings citrus and vanilla. Flavor is hoppy, spicy and yeasty, and the finish is quite mild.

Bottled. Hazy golden with yeast particles and a large, white head. Fresh and malty nose with notes of citrus and vanilla. Rather lively palate with a strong and warm fullbodied flavour.
