Bottle brown, 750 ml
Appearance: Pours classic, orangy - yellowish amber body colour, body is cloudy, highly saturated, indeed very lively carbonation, head is thick, compact, very frothy, cloudy in shape, very fluffy, off white, milky or butter like in colour, perfect lacing with slowly colapsing head.
Aroma: Very complex and nice aroma, at front you can feel spicyness and aromatic flowery hoppy profile, some oilyness characteristic for Abby Tripels, what is more nice scents of dark chockolate and bitter cacao what is quite surprising for a Pale Belgian Ale, at least for me. Nice notes of wheat, graphite, whipped cream, milk, butter, butterscotch, barley malt, dust and pepper, pineapple, yeast, stale coffee beans or stale wheat grains being slightly toasted.
Flavour: Very comfortably hopped, quite strong bitterness coming from hops in the middle part of the tongue, nice spicy - fruity - flowery hoppy kick in nose, very clean and well balanced flavour, wheat, fresh, mashed barley grains, pineapple, lime, banana, clove, pepper, very spicy, moderate to strongly alcoholic but giving a positive character, toasty, very long finish, notes of coffee, dark - chockolate, cacao.
Palate: Body is full, texture is oily to dry, carbonation on palate is lively, finish feel is highly bitter, clean, yeasty, astringent, strong alcoholic but positive finish.

A hazy golden amber ale with a super thick creamy off white head. Aroma of sour cherries and tannins, light acidity, and caramel. In mouth, a good herbal malt with sustained coriander, some tartness, yeast. Medium bodied. Bieropholie import BB 09-09.

Slightly sour and oaky aroma. Lasting sweetness and hints of raspberry. Not worth repeating.

It’s slightly hazy orange-golden with a huge, creamy head. The aroma has sweetness and notes of candy sugar, raisin and malt. The flavour has sweetness, notes of raisin, alcohol, candy sugar, caramel and light dark fruit. The alcohol is rather crude.

Amber colored brew. Sweet, fruity aroma. Flavor is sweet, too sugary. Mild fruity. The acidic, alcoholic flavor is not nice.

Bottle from Dranken Geers. Bit of a gusher I guess. Hazy amber, thin white head. Quite a fruity beer. I’ve only had 2 Bon Secour beers, but I’ve enjoyed them both. This is a bit like a fruity amber. Good body, well balanced flavours, some hop. Can’t really say why I like it, but I do. Nice hops. Fruit malt and yeast.
