En aroma aparece el caramelo, algo acido y especiado. De entrada picante en paladar predomina el alcohol el acido y ciertas notas especiadas

Dobre piwo z karmelowymi smakami. Alkohol w piwie jest rozgrzeawający, bez posmaku etanolu. Piana spora, mocne wysycenie, czerwonawe odcienie. Finisz rozgrzewający i trochę alkoholowy. Na zimę piwo w sam raz

Very cloudy amber with lots of ivory foam, quite typical for the Bon Secours range. Rather strong nose, a mix of sharp hops and smoother malts. Strong taste, very much like a tripel, bitter but not excessive, quite a full rounded taste again balanced out by the malts, decent bit of alcohol. The aftertaste is smoother, nicely smooth yet still enough sharpness to avoid falling flat. I should try this one next to their Blonde to compare them, though I’m even more impressed with their Brune which is brilliant. Still, it’s solid good stuff!

Een goudkleurig, troebel bier. Aroma van amaretto, een beetje aards. Levendig koolzuur. Nasmaak zurig.

(bottle brought back from Belgium by friend) medium brown with small head. Caramel, sweetish malt aroma with some yeast. Flavor was brown malt, some yeast.

Despite of its horrible label, this beer in glass is quite suitable: nice dark brown colour with rubi sparkles, good beige head and appreciable retention, prune, red and black fruits and honey aromas...Very promising. The problem is in the first sip: it reveals a very weak taste for its style, watery texture and a very simple notes to candied orange, raisins and caramel. The development is short and slight, maybe due to its texture, and very flat. It’s not a awful beer, but it is very far from other in its style.

Nice sour flavor and aroma of wine. Alcohol burn present in flavor. Thick on head on pour and stays put until finish....

Test vom 16.11.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,8,5,6,5,5 - 5,90

Bottle 330ml. [Best before 12/1999, entering for the records] Pours clear brown/amber. No head. Aroma is of caramel, alcohol, acid, fruits. Taste is of caramel, acid, Purple Mr. Freeze, water. Palate: No carbonation, watery. Overall: Past best before date (alot), but still can be considered a beer worth drinking, surprisingly.
