thewolf (5633), Kolding, Denmark Nov 15, 2007 Bottle. [thank you, yespr, shared @ Plan B]
Pours a lightly hazy orange with a bubbly, frothy white head - wonderful lacework. Aroma is very Tripel-ish, oranges, peach with light caramel. Full and very creamy mouthfeel with a grainy touch. Flavour is light sourish with lots of fruitiness, especially oranges. This should perhaps be a Tripel? Dedollewaitor (3625), Odense, Denmark Nov 7, 2007 Sling top bottle. Giant pop and the beer jumped up and out of the bottle. Cloudy amber orange with a giant foam & lacings. Aroma is sweet from fruits. Orange & peach. Some yeast, bread & caramel. And again some exotic fresh fruits. Body is medium filling. Light warmth. Extremely pleasant! beerbuzzmontreal (2909), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Nov 2, 2007 Pours a cloudy amber color with a very thick, frothy, white head. Intriguing aroma of peppery yeast, caramel, fruits and spices. Flavor of spices, peppery yeast, fruits and caramel. The body is light to medium with an oily texture and moderate carbonation. If not awesome, this beer provides a decent enough entertainment. HermanW (619), Coevorden, Netherlands Oct 19, 2007 Herfstvakantie Ardennen. Gedronken in hotel. Lekkere smaak.
M0RHI (1067), Luxembourg, Luxembourg Sep 5, 2007 Bottle, Aikmans, St Andrews. Hazy, thin white head. Fruity fizzy hoppy, peach and some lemoney tones. Mouth is quite sweet with some grassy notes and some meaty flavours. Finishes quite sweet and with some plummy vinous tones. Quite nice, but not brilliant. Ethereal (1500), London, Greater London, England Aug 17, 2007 Bottle at Lowlander, Drury Lane, 16th August 2007. Pours cloudy amber with a small head. Aroma is nice, with apple and blackcurrant apparent. The taste is a mix of sweet malt flavours battling with tart fruit hints. I found the palate rather lacking - short lived and slight. The alcoholic strength is not concealed and overall I’d call this an interesting beer, not a great one. BeerBiker (1384), Odense, Denmark Aug 5, 2007 [Sampled in 2005 in Lundeborg bought at Rob in Hesselager.]
A bomb in the party. Lots of notes such as spices, yeast, dried fruits and with a soft, acidity palate. Also notes of something rouge! Really great!!!
