Aug 5, 2006 Bottled. Amber color. Very heavy carbonation. Musty, malty, tart and alcoholic aroma. The taste is sweet and begins with sharp alcohol and acetone continuing with pepper and cherry spirit. I used to like this but now it tastes like a solvent?!?

Jul 19, 2006 Murky orangish yellow beer with a light thick creamy brownish head. Sweet copper metallic smell and hint of spice. Sour spicey flavor with metalliclike finish.

Apparence: La couleur est ambrée-orangée voilée avec une moyenne densité de bulle. Présence d’un énorme col mousseux et d’une large dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût de caramel et d’alcool. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture liquoreuse. Moyenne effervescence en bouche. Légère présence d’alcool chaleureux en arrière goût. (Rating #455)

Apr 3, 2006 Bottle with flip top. Pours amber\gold with a small off-white head. Aroma of citrus, belgian spices, yeast, and fruit. Flavor is yeast, citrus, musty yeast, alcohol, and a slight bitter finish. Good body, just wasn’t digging this one.

Mar 31, 2006 Bottle, Lowlander, Covent Garden: With my London guide, Duff. Hazy amber with an eternal white head. The aroma of this reminded me of fresh prawns (??) with caramel. In the mouth it was sweet and slightly phenolic (cloves and pepper), and very nicely soft, like milk. Nice.

Mar 30, 2006 Bottle. Cloudy amber colour, looks quite nice. Nice soft carbontion on the tongue, with an almost creamy mouthfeel. Caramel sweetness to start off, with some spicy, yeasty flavours, and some peppery alcohol, also quite citric aswell.
