33 cl bottle. Yeast at the bottom. Golden colour with big fluffy head. Aroma of yeast, spice and caramel. Nice sweet flavour of biscuit, spice, malt and ends up with a nice warm feeling from the alcohol.

(Bottled) Hazy yellow-golden color with a huge, firm and lacy, Duvelish head. Fruity, perfumy and yeasty aroma with berries, some alcohol and toffeeish sugar. Cloying sweet alcohol and toffee flavor with moderate yeastiness and hints of fruit. Medium-bodied, cloying palate with foamy but smooth carbonation. Who the heck has authorized brewing of such a cloying strong ale...?

Yellow blond colour, small white head. Aroma is malty, some white chocolate. Smouth taste little bit bitter-sweet, yet strong. Finish is alcoholic with sweet hints; some bitterness. Balanced beer, I love this one.

(Bottle 33cl) Luxembourg / Nov 2005 Hazy blond beer, medium head. Yeasty aroma. Very yeasty, sweet. Rather well balanced after the yeasty start. Light bitter dry finish.

Hazy orangy-yellow (peach-like) color, lots of floating yeast, nice steady and creamy white head, some lace. Sweet apricot and yeast aroma. Medium to full bodied, quite sweet, sugary and fruity. Banana sweetness - yeast - character, a bit DDB-like. Alcohol is well hidden. Too sweet and sugary to be really enjoyable but maybe that’s for the Christmas.

(Bottle 33 cl) Amber coloured with lots of impurities and a thick and solid head. Vinuos nose - almost like a dry white wine. Extremely potent, the alcohol is very prominent - almost like in a Danish strong lager, which is not really a recommandation. Spicy - like in cough syrup. Herbal notes - but basically just alcoholic. Bit of a disappointment from Caulier. 080702

Bottle, Brussels, May 2005. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is hazy dark yellow, bottle conditioned. Aroma is moderately malty (bread, grain, cookie), with notes of banana and vanilla. Flavor is heavily sweet, lightly acidic. Finish is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Medium to full body, velvety/creamy texture, lively carbonation, moderately alcoholic. A big, super-sweet, alcohol-heavy brew.

Hazy dirty warm-yellow beer with a big off white foam. Alcohol in the nose and hints of spices and fruits from a tin. also flowers in the nose. Taste is unbalanced, has touches of cakes, fruits citrus and an unplesant alcohol attack in the taste.
