3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Enormous gushing head, hazy orange body. Fresh yeast, green apple, alcohol, wheat and cloves. Dry taste, light sweet. Heavily carbonated. Nothing like I expect or want a Christmas beer to be. More fresh, crisp and Duvel like. (33cl bottle)

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
33cl bottle. Light yellow/green and hazy. The head is white and amazingly lively. Don’t pour this thing without some precautions. Nose : citrus notes, strong cherry esters with this quite original liquor presence. Yeast and caramel. Sip : Oily with a sparlking carbonation. Sweet alcohol filled with fruity ester aromas. Very spicy : pepper, paprika ? some little clove. The alcohol is there but well balanced into the overall taste. One glass yes, but a good one.

0,33 l fliptopbottle, Carrefour, Liege
Murky blond one with a huge ammount of sediment, big fluffy head. Aroma of yeast, tropical fruits, figs, banana, vanilla that soaked in alcohol. Strong spicy character with coriander, sourish yeast, overmatured fruits, a lot of alcohol. Too mutch alcohol.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Not the most standard Christmasbeer. A light sourness is present especially in the finish. Still a nice beer, very nice taste overall and the alcohol doesn’t dominate.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Great smell and taste. Mouthfeel could use a bit more body. Colour is pretty nice. I think this might be the first non-black x-mas beer i’ve had.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Getrunken beim 1. BTO-Treffen.
Fruchtiger Geruch, mehrere Aromen schwirren einem in die Nase. Sehr alkoholischer Geschmack, leicht hopfig, dafür um so würziger, was sich im Nachgeschmack noch steigert.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Tasting notes of a very old bottle, best before 07 2006. Tasted May 2011.
Warm blond colour with a shy, disappearing white head. Aroma of madeira, raisins, dried and candied fruits. Flavour has the same key notes with rather nice caramel and malt tones. Sweetish, sticky mouthfeel and no detectable hops left, as could be expected. Nicely developed for a blond beer. This beer is definitely still pretty, even at high age - provided that you like this kind of madeira notes in old beer of course.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Swing top bottle, gold blonde, dense white head, lots od carbonization, it pours out of the bottle,Aroma has citrus, hops, herbs, some coriander. Taste is slightly bitter, a bit aloholic, not very special, a bit short finish, a bit dry also. Affordable.
